Beware of their trip/driving fees! We had them come out to look at our generator. They were here for 90 minutes. The next week I got their bill and it was $1270! They told me it was 1.5 hours of work, plus 3.1 hours of driving time. They charge $200 per hour, and it's the same rate if they're doing actual work or just driving in their vehicle. Apparently this is the new local distributor for generac. I called several times to place an order several weeks ago. Called several more times and left multiple messages and received no return call. The parts desk never answers. Extremely disappointed with the service.
I purchased my Kohler generator and ATS from Buckeye Power Sales and installed the entire system myself. During the installation, Buckeye provided extremely useful information and every time I phoned Buckeye they connected me with someone who could answer my question and often provided supplemental information I did not even think of. Two technicians, Glen and Dave, were at our home for 8 hours today to repair our Kohler Generator. It was a hot day and there were cicadas everywhere. That did not slow them down at all. They worked very hard taking the generator totally apart and finding the issue and fixing it. They spent a lot of time cleaning the oil that had seeped out of the generator.
