If you are a veteran sometimes you don't know if the medical person is qualified to see you ,just because they have that job doesn't mean there not fake papers work if you know they have hired and fired fake personal. The Dr that takes care of me is the best Dr I have ever had .I'm a veteran that falls threw the cracks and only see my health provider once a year and 20 minutes into and time with her .she walks to the door and tells me .do you know where the EXIT is and pushes me out the door .I file a complaint and it never... read more
We are so blessed to have the VA clinic in Harlingen. They continue to increase the services. Now they perform some surgery procedures. Yay. While at times, the pharmacy wait time may appear long, honestly, it's faster than in other places. They really watch the meds you are prescribed and ensure they don't interfere with what to are talking. Thank you.
This new facility is absolutely wonderful! I joined the Wellness Center today. I have nothing but great things to say about ALL aspects of my care... From making/receiving an appt... To our great nurses... And our PCPs are OUTSTANDING!!! Rick (at the front entrance desk) is very friendly, kind, & helpful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY FOR ALL YOUR VETERAN HEALTH CARE NEEDS!!!
The facility is clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and engaging. When I was there, every staff member that went by the waiting area took time to engage with the Veterans waiting to be seen. I have been in many VA facilities around the country, and most times the staff seems unhappy to be there. No so here, thank you.
03/17/23. Whoever the condescending Federal worker answering the phone for behavioral science really is not who you want to talk to. Condescending doesn't describe her actions. What a piece of work. You must have tenure?? Maybe you need some remedial training on consideration of others and customer service. YOU ARE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'd like to apologize to Brenda at the pharmacy. It wasn't your fault the other staff didn't do their job. Plotted.
