We had a very pleasant stay at the Buccaneer Motel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The proprietor was very helpful and obliging. Forget the large hotel/motel chains owned by foreign companies, stay local and support your local businesses.
The rooms and the outside areas were very clean. Excellent and helpful owners. A well run motel and quiet considering it is quite a busy road. The Lotus Court Chinese restaurant was recommended, nearby and had very good food.
Kind of like a halfway house for the displaced…Those that need emergency accommodation for they & pets…Highway noisy…BUT there is a covered table/chair area at front…The Energy I felt there..:The Proper conversations I had with residents/pets there was ,would you believe? Enjoyable even uplifting…It reminded me to be truly grateful for owning my own house… ☝️💚🐝
Simple , clean and a solid choice to break up a trip. We didn’t stay with pets but could have for an extra fee. Staff were welcoming and gave us fresh milk for tea/coffee. Economical overnight stay for our family of 4
