Decent meal, a bit tight and loud. – If you are looking to walk out stuffed, this is the place. I think the food quality and quantity is a good value, and the service was generally friendly and attentive. The tables seating was a bit snug, and I thought the noise level a little high for having conversation.
They don't know how to estimate wait time – I have to agree with the "HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED..... If you go, make a reservation" wish I had read that before we stopped in at the Orland Park location for dinner. That review was written in 2008, but could have been now (they are still the same). HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.........If you go make a reservation – I was very excited to take my mom to Buca for mothers day. I decided to take her a day early to avoid the crowd. On our way we called to make a reservation and was told that we needed to make it 2 hours in advance but was assured that we could come now and be seated. Amazing family style Italian food! – I love this restaurant! The waiters are, for the most part, always very friendly and the cooks never skip a beat. The food is always delicious and is served in giant family-style portions meant for sharing. The pizza is truly one of a kind and very tasty as is everything else. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal at this restaurant!
Good Food – We were the first people there and then the next people that came in they sat right next to us. Gimmicky Itallian – Dissapointing chain. If you go anyway, don't go with less than 4 people. You are not allowed to order portions that are not huge. Tacky, distasteful decor. Don't believe a glowing all 10's review that is over a year old, and is the only review ever written by that person. Seems like a Buca placed review to me.
best atmosphere, familystyle!!! – This place is awesome, you get a whole lotta food for not a lot of cost! It is a great place for kids, parties of 2 or of 20. The wait staff is the friendliest around. The hot food is served HOT. The cold food is served COLD.
