Place feels dated with awards not past 2012 from what I saw. Middle of the day Saturday and three seats taken up and one slow waiter. Food was sub-par. Started with fried pickle chips that were overly wet and the breading slid off. Pulled pork lacked flavor, and the brisket looked dry and rushed, very little flavor. The awards are clearly outdated based on the quality.
my wife just picked up our order 1lb bbq ad 2 pork sammies.. i specifically stated"lean no fat" my sammie was 1/3 fat cap and stringy fat.. horrible! the 1lb had fat but was tolerable. i had to separate it from the good Q.. very sad.. not happy.. threw my sammy away..
I was in the mood for some good ol’ BBQ today, so I decided to give this place a try. Michelle was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The sweet tea was good, and the collard greens were decent. Now, that chicken… bless its heart. It was DRY! So dry I had to practically drown my sandwich in BBQ sauce just to get it down. I am shook that they served me room temp wings. Like how does that even happen? I ordered and they came out in like 4 minutes. Room temp? Wow. No thanks
