I am obsessed with btone and the team here! Kara has created such a supportive, welcoming environment that also kicks your butt! I had never done a reformer type class, walked by, and thought, why not! Now, 25 classes later, I am HOOKED!! I promise you, try it out and you will love it!
I decided to try this studio because it was a 4 minute walk from my house, and they had an amazing opening deal. I was very nervous as I’d never tried Pilates before and definitely had the “stigma” around it stuck in my head. I can’t say how different of an experience I had! The environment is welcoming, encouraging, and kept me coming back. Don’t be scared even if you’re a beginner! The instructors and owners are amazing and I hope to continue this as part of my routine!
Btone Somerville was my first introduction to this type of workout. Any nervousness I had going in was immediately left at the door as soon as I stepped inside. The space is bright, airy, and absolutely spotless. I’ve taken class with a variety of instructors and each one has been welcoming, encouraging and motivating when moves get heavy. Just hit my 25th class and I’m looking forward adding many more. This is such a great place to get strong and be a part of a wonderful community.

This business moved in and now unfortunately wakes me up at 6am most mornings (I live upstairs). I have politely reached out on multiple occasions to lower the volume, but the owner Kara has been unresponsive, and there has been little improvement. I also experienced a very negative interaction with one of their instructors, Christina, in person. I was hoping that btone would be an excellent addition to the neighborhood, but if they are unable to be mindful of the existing community, I cannot rightfully recommend them.
