Went into ER by ambulance and was not taken seriously. I was asked by almost every Dr. and Nurse I saw if the pain was just in my head. Very slow responses with no sense of priority or care.. During evaluation, I was in so much pain I was sobbing and the nurses and staff just told me I was being too loud. When I was trying to calm down the nurses next to me continued to yell at me saying I wasn’t trying at all. Rude staff with little compassion for people in pain. My procedure went well. They were a bit late getting me from the lobby, but it’s possible an earlier procedure ran long. I’d be fine if that is what happened…an explanation would have been nice. Once I was called back, everyone I dealt with was kind, worked efficiently, and were professional. That was both before and after my procedure.
