Lived in a studio here for a year while working nearby. I'll start with the positives. You gotta know what you're in for if you live here. It's really only got the price and location going for it, and I'm sure that rent change in the next few years (edit - it already has). It's close to Septa, which is actually a big plus. Love this place! Lived here for 3 years while I was a student at Villanova and you can’t beat the location. Everything was taken care of quickly and I never had any issues.
I lived here from 2024-2025. Management is completely incompetent. On my move in day, I called ahead to confirm when I would be there, but when I arrived no one was there to give me my keys and no one answered the phone. The only reason I got in was a maintenance person who just happened to be there. After move in day, they still almost never answered the phone for my entire time living there. Since Altman took over it has been a huge improvement! They repainted the lobby and hallways and are finally renovating the elevators. I have no issues with maintenance. Always pleasant and handle all my issues.
It's not the best and not the worst place to rent. All of the appliances worked, and I never had any trouble with the shower or sinks. That being said, it's not the cleanest. There is very old grime that just got painted over. Door hinges and hooks are also painted over, and the doors are hard to close as a result (my bathroom and closet doors never did).
