I am not from a big family, so to lose someone extremely dear to me has been the greatest loss of my life. During such a difficult time, having Peter and everyone involved , helped ease an emotional burden , to carry out what needed to be done. I am grateful.

I understand that it’s a city service. However, their attitudes could be a lot better. They’re just not sensitive people.. they behave very much transactional and not sympathetic nor trying to make you feel comfortable throughout the process. However, on the plus side the ashes and death certificates arrived in a promptly manner.. which was nice.. at least they kept their word which is respectable… I just wanted to leave an honest review with hopes that this changes their attitude.. that no matter if whether a family is usin... read more

The staff was friendly and helpful. The chapel was clean, and comfortable for our service. They allowed parking for our guests in the front. Very affordable. Was what my family and I needed.

Peter is a wonderful person , handling my husband ,my mother and a family friend also works with family that are low income and is very personable .I would recommend Yonkers funeral home and continue to have my family members to receive the care that Peter gives to all.thank you Yonkers funeral home .
