Poor communication throughout. At first they gave me incorrect initial advice (My spouse works at a personal injury firm so I know when they're telling me incorrect legal principles). I requested a change of lawyer. In the end they ended up dropping my case because of being informed by the respondent side of my official on paper hours (20hrs/week) being the same as the hours I had reduced capacity to work whilst on WC payments. Friendly and attentive help from Natalie with setting up Enduring Power of Attorney and the Appointment of Enduring Guardianship documents at a very sensitive time. I cannot speak too highly of the service I received from Natalie and her team. Anyone that requires legal assistance will find that Brydens will have you covered.
My conversation with the office staff seemed like a scam. I asked what the cost structure would be to have documentation verified and voi. She advised me to pay $300 for a consult after which I would be able to know the cost of the complete process. This takes away my choice to refuse the quote and traps me in paying $300 for a quote essentially. I feel this is quite unethical and dishonest.
