He does L&I Independent Medical Reviews. He didn't listen and was too busy talking into his recorder to respond to anything. Spent 15 minutes with me, used one measurement guage for about 1 second and then rubber stamped me for L&I. Not impressed at all.Interesting fact, the physical capacity exam which was over a few hours found that I shouldn't use my dominant arm for more than 10% of the day, this guy gives me a 34% disability rating for the entire arm after spending 15 minutes with me.

Provider was able to provide timeline for recovery before surgery but in last appt I asked when the pain im feeling should go away and doctor responded with "unfortunately I don't have a crystal ball"
Dr. Marchant is one of the best doctors for listening to concerns, discussing concerns and possible solutions, and having great connections with patients.
One of the best people I've encountered in my life
I had a sensitive spot just past my knee. At the Drs. office I saw him drink from a flask. I told him about my bump and he had me wait because he wanted his 2 colleagues to see it as well. Once they arrived he said to them "remember that one lady that had a similar problem and she had fluid all the way from here to here" They shook their heads while he felt up and down both of my legs. This is the type of doc that gives orthos a bad name. Many of his treatment plans are severely outdated, he tries to treat (and even perform surgery) on areas that he is not as well versed in as he could be, and bad mouths other doctors within the Mercy network. If he is recommending a surgery for you please consider obtaining a second opinion of a doc that specializes in the joint or condition that is affecting you.
Didn't make me feel rushed. was a great listener and explained everything very thoroughly. I've been waiting for a doctor like him. Thank you so much to him. he is very appreciated. I can tell he knows what he knows but is just wanting to help me. how nice.
