I’m in my early 30s and just recently had some kidney stone issues. I’m sure they’re all up to specs in this urology dept bc all the people I met, dealt with, and spoke to on the phone were amazing. Dr. Byrd performed 2 kidney removal surgeries on me, both a highly success. His nurse Melinda is a wonderful soul to deal and speak with as well and you can tell in her voice she’s here to help and she cares. Feels like most doctors just keep you coming back to send 5 mins asking a few questions and scheduling another appointment to do it all again…. Dr Byrd actually told me that since I needed an oncologist he didn’t need to see me again unless I had another issue… 🥹
My husband has been seeing dr Byrd for 2 years now he is an amazing doctor makes sure you understand everything answers all questions and really cares about his patients we appreciate him so much he definitely stays on top of things would highly recommend him to anyone in need
He was polite, courteous and understanding. I went into ER with left flank pain to find had 5mm kidney stone in ureter at to of bladder. He had to work me in for surgery and he even came down to meet me.
