As I sit here, in my father’s living room, listening to him suffering from stage 4 bladder cancer and praying for a miracle, I hope you all will excuse me if I do not share everyone’s 5-star rating for Mr. Byrd. Notice that I did not call him an MD because in my book he isn’t one. My father went to Mr. Byrd in late August for tests to determine if he had bladder cancer or not. I’m in my early 30s and just recently had some kidney stone issues. I’m sure they’re all up to specs in this urology dept bc all the people I met, dealt with, and spoke to on the phone were amazing. Dr. Byrd performed 2 kidney removal surgeries on me, both a highly success. His nurse Melinda is a wonderful soul to deal and speak with as well and you can tell in her voice she’s here to help and she cares. Feels like most doctors just keep you coming back to send 5 mins asking a few questions and scheduling another appointment to do it all again…. Dr Byrd actually told me that since I needed an oncologist he didn’t need to see me again unless I had another issue… 🥹
My husband has been seeing dr Byrd for 2 years now he is an amazing doctor makes sure you understand everything answers all questions and really cares about his patients we appreciate him so much he definitely stays on top of things would highly recommend him to anyone in need
