Not understanding my symptoms, keep prescribing medication for system I do not have he was uninterested in my diagnosis. Had to stop him in the hallway and he basically blew me off 😭 Lack of experience with adult patients. At 60 years old, I've been to a lot of doctors. Dr. Potthoff is one of the most incompetent I've ever seen. His lack of interest is matched only by his lack of knowledge. * Runs blood tests but can't be bothered to examine the results. * When he does examines the results either he skims them or doesn't understand them. * Didn't detect Scoliosis...& I mean after the X-rays. Usually, I can't read X-rays but when your spine looks like the letter 'S', you don't need to be an expert. * Evidently, he can't read x-rays either. He m... read more
At 60 years old, I've seen a lot of doctors, but Dr.. Potthoff has been one of the worst. His lack of interest is matched only by his lack of knowledge. He often forgets I'm a diabetic! Runs blood tests but can't be bothered to examine the results. He's even worse with X-rays... missed osteoarthritis & spinal stenosis...even though it was noted by the radiologist clearly in the report.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to Dr. Potthoff it's a waste of time and energy he have been my kids doctor for 2 years and I haven't got any help. Everytime I go to his office I leave an go straight to the emergency room an my kids also come back with a sickness doesn't matter it is. He doesn't give you any advice on what you should to fix the problem.
