Excellent doctor Open minded and honest. Makes you feel very comfortable and listened to.
I understand insurance restrictions only allow doctors so much time with each patient. But when you literally have to stop a doctor at the door because he doesn't take the time to go over everything you already wrote on your intake form (and mentioned when making the appointment) then you are dealing with someone who might be burnt out. I left feeling more like a burden to his lunch appointment than a repeat patient.
My husband is a veteran and it is often too hectic for him to have consistent schedules. OU Medical has solved many issues that hindered his care. Dr. Poutoff and his staff are excellent. The office staff welcomed you as you entered the facility. Very friendly communication throughout the visit. Dr. Poutoff was attentive and appeared genuinely concerned about my husband, and my health inquiries. I am grateful for his professionalism and care.
Dr. Potthoff has been my primary for about 4 years now and has been great. He has always listens to my concerns and always refers me to specialty physicians if needed. If I have a question concerning medications, etc. he always helps look them up before prescribing anything. He is also very kind and gentle with my children. Highly recommend him!
