The ice cream is great but the service is terrible. I’ve gone on three separate occasions for pick up orders, twice when it was not busy at all (as in one other customer in line). All three times, I stand at the window for 5+ minutes waiting for someone to help me while the employees either stand around talking or help new customers in the regular line. Bruster’s Real Ice Cream in Dana Point totally exceeded expectations—and I don’t say that lightly because I’m very picky about my ice cream (usually a Bacio di Latte loyalist!). But this spot?
