A friend and I went to an B-B-Q party this restaurant had advertised on the radio. The atmosphere was okay; the service was good; the ribs were tasteless and rubbery; the beans were fabulous; the pork was very good. I tried the three sauces that were on the table. We went with hopes that this would be good BBQ, we were wrong. I ordered the brisket and the baby back ribs. The brisket was okay, but the ribs were not good at all. It felt like everything was taken out of the fridge and heated. The rib meat didn't fall off the bones and it was still slightly cold. I was hoping all 6 sauces would be on the table to try them all out...but at the time you order is when you have to decide what sauce you want.
This place has excellent pork, chicken, brisket and ribs. The baked beans are the best I've ever had and they offer 5 kinds of sauce and 3 kinds of cole slaw. Best BBQ in Tucson.
