We moved back to Pittsburgh from West Virginia in April we called before we moved back to set up an appointment for our cat. I get there for an appointment at 2 and had to wait 30 minutes to be seen and then they questioned me as to why I brought her in. I said because they had never seen her before and I figured they would want to examine her before I scheduled an appointment for her to be spayed so they her files. My German Shepherd went in for a simple spaying procedure. She died that night! They had no explanation. He said we’ll do an autopsy but she was already cremated. Didn’t offer our money back, nothing! She was my best friend and now she’s gone because of brush run vet clinic! Stay away if u love your animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been taking my animals here for more than 30 years when Nancy Rubis first set out on her own. As she brought others on board like Paul Volz, the practice maintained the same high standards for good care and practical advice. Prices are fair, staff is excellent, and the grace in which they handle the emotional and difficult cases is appreciated and noticed. Top notch all around!
I love both the drs and staff. They are gentle, knowledgeable, and don’t push medical procedures that aren’t absolutely necessary. The pricing is also very fair. Will always take my dogs and cats here as long as they are in business!

The service has gone downhill here. I'm not sure if it's related to employee turnover or not, but the staff isn't very friendly anymore.
Friendly staff and compassionate quality care. They understand that our pets are our family. I can't say enough about Dr. Volz, Dr. Foil and all the staff. Thanks for always taking care of my girl, Buttercup!
