The Brunswick Veterinary Hospital is an amazing place to take your fur babies, they truly care about you and them. We had no where to turn yesterday morning and needed an emergency cesarean for our fur baby after being turned away from the Drumm Veterinary Hospital that promised us they would do the procedure. We had multiple prenatal visits with Drumm and everything was scheduled and planned ahead, and last second they ditched us. I took my ferret to this vet as they were the only vet that would see my ferret. They took great care of her. Sadly my little lady passed away. I brought her to the 24hr ER vet in Latham, worst service ever. The vet called to check up on Mika and I told her she passed. I got a card in the mail where they all signed it. That made me feel so happy to know they went out of their way to send that card. I will be bringing my other ferrets here and my dog. Thank you guys so much!!
Found myself in the “Perfect Storm” of a holiday weekend, a new patient and a pet that was not the ever popular cat or dog (Penelope is a Guinean Pig). Very few vets deal with “exotic” animals. Add the awkwardness of the Covid protocols, and I was a little nervous. Brunswick gave me an appointment right away, dealt with Penelope’s injury with compassion and knowledge and the staff made me feel welcome. Would absolutely wholeheartedly recommend Brunswick Vet! We adopted a chocolate lab about two years ago and she ended up having a pretty significant seizure disorder. We had used a different veterinary service in the area up until March and we were never really happy with the care or "bedside manner" of the other veterinary service. Dr. LaMora performed an emergency surgery on our dog after she swallowed a pacifier whole. She did an excellent job, and kept us up to date throughout the day. She was very compassionate and reassuring. She took the time to throughly explain her after care and medications to us. Additionally, the building is immaculate!
