I had low expectations when I called today, and unfortunately, they were met. I injured my left thumb nail (1/4 nail was hanging as a result of a pressure injury) and asked if I could come in as a new patient to be seen by a Dr. The receptionist told me they don’t take walk-ins, spoke briefly with the doctor, and came back with a quick response: “Go to the emergency room.” There was no real care or interest shown. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and Dr Lee is very knowledgeable, thorough and caring. Mum has been seeing Dr Lee for many, many years!
The practice including the Receptionist were very pleasant and efficient. However the Management by HotDoc was very poor. I pre-filled my details the night before my appointment, and the information was not passed through to the Practice. I had redo all this work and effort to complete a paper Info Collection Sheet.
Why do you keep texting me saying you say you care about "continuity of care" then you fire my long time GP? I had made a follow up appointment with her in 3 weeks time. Then you fired her? So where is this "continuity of care"? I know she's had health issues, but every time the receptionist has let us know she's off because of that.
