Have been going to Bruno's Italian Bistro for many years, one of our favorite locally owned restaurants with BYOB options. Again enjoyed dinner last night and kudos to the same consistent food quality, warm service and familiar surroundings. We ordered Eggplant Rollatini and Calamari as starters followed by entree orders for Shrimp and Crab Pappardelle and Branzino, all of which were well prepared and tasty.
We hosted a 80 person welcome party in the outdoor space and it was magical. The food, staff, atmosphere, everything was top notch and perfect. After researching many restaurants in the county to host an event at, we are so glad we went to Bruno’s. Cannot recommend it enough.
I stopped by Bruno’s a little while ago. The food was actually pretty decent and the place itself had a nice vibe, but the overall experience was a letdown. The owner, Sonny (if I got the name right), came off rude and kind of dismissive, which made things uncomfortable. Bruno’s Bistro is a family run Italian restaurant hidden off of Rte. 10 in Morris Plains and is a must-go. The staff is lovely, attentive without being overbearing, and helpful with recommendations or things to try.
