My wife had a TIA on 6/28 and was treated at South Miami, who recomended I see a Dr. Damski upon my release. I called to make a reservation, but appointment was transfered to Dr. Bruno Gallo since Dr. Damski did not take my insurance. Appointment was today, July 16th. I went in, he saw me, saw my list of medicines, recommended I keep on taking the 81mg Aspirin for life, and said good bye. If he spent 2 minutes with my wife, is too much. Very knowledgable but horrible bedside manners. We took our mom who is suffering from alzheimer's and although we appreciated that he was direct, the manner in which he spoke was condensing and rude. It's such a delicate diagnosis and we want to feel like our dr cares about our mother and her new reality of life.

Dr. Gallo was he neurologist when I was admitted to the hospital with an unknown brain mass. His positive manner kept me in good spirits while all the tests were run and his diagnosis was on the money. His knowledge is evident and he explains everything both in medical and layman's terms. I really appreciated his bedside manner while I went through one of the toughest challenges of my life. Thank you Dr. Gallo! I recently went to him for a follow up and found his office staff to be great.
Dr. Gallo treated me when I had to make an unexpected visit to the emergency room while I was on vacation. He was truly one of the kindest most compassionate doctors I have ever dealt with. That along with fact that he had superior knowledge of the brain stimulator devise I was having trouble with made a horrible situation somewhat tolerable. I will forever be grateful for his expertise and direction. Lisa
