These guys are incompetent and have other interests in mind when representing you; it's to close so they get paid and the realtor gets paid. We purchased our first home and hired the lawyer our realtor recommended. First mistake we made. We bought a 2 family home, which had two tenants currently occupying. This lawyer did nothing to sort out transferring the current rent payments to the new owners. He did nothing to transfer the tenants security deposits to us.
