The Willow Group come under a lot of unnecessary criticism, I find things frustrating with parking, appointments and suchlike, but they are a busy business and are trying hard to help, the procedures to book and get appointments is sometime a tedious task but is their job to assist, advise and treat. Since moving to the area from Lincolnshire, its exactly the same there. Overworked and Underfunded. I've found that it works both ways, be polite and courteous, patience is a virtue.
The nurse I saw today was extremely arrogant and rude from the moment I was called in for my appointment and treated me like I was something stuck to the bottom of her shoe. She asked me questions then continuously cut me off about 3 words into my answers. She continued to be rude/off with me during and after my exam, and made me feel really uncomfortable. I called today to try and arrange an urgent appointment for my son who had tonsillitis, phoned was answered within a few minutes and I spoke with a care navigator called Connor who was extremely helpful and within a few hours my son had the antibiotics he needed. Thank you so much.
Not very happy. The nurse was very rushed, she stuck the needle in without really feeling for a vein, did the next arm and rushed, failing to get blood out and just abruptly said I will have to book an afternoon. I asked why the lights are off and she said she had a migraine. Surely she shouldn't be trying to get blood out of me, now both arms are really bruised.
My elderly parents are registered here. Q: to the Willow Group: Do you have to be dead or better to have any joy in gaining a service with yourselves? Appalling service. Constantly having to go through 111 and visiting QA A&E or Gosport War Memorial is really not acceptable. My father was promised district nurse visits over 2 weeks ago. He now has ulcerated and infected wounds because of this surgeries negligence and inability to provide any duty of care.
