Best lemon tart I ever had! Lovely bakery 🧁
It's been years since I've been to Brumbys but decided to get a cob loaf and some dips for a party. This is probably the worst cob I've ever bought. It was nothing more that plain white bread made into a round loaf. Not crusty, not chewy and it tasted exactly the same as the bread you can buy in the supermarket. Definitely nothing like the photos on this page. So disappointed.
Ordered a big dog which was alright and a beef and mushroom that didn't taste like it had any mushrooms in. This is the only place I hadn't tried since I moved to Mackay 4 months ago and it's also the only place that that has disappointed me. It would also be nice if the server put a lil bit of a smile in the service. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to smile 😊
Purchased a ham salad roll and cream bun, both were excellent. Sesame seed bun was the perfect texture, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, perfect amount of salad and ham with a delicious dressing. The cream bun was soft with cream that was the perfect texture and not too sweet. Well done Brumbys Mt Pleasant.
