The beef pies are excellent. Problem is, when I drop in around 3pm they have usually run out. If they are open until 6pm you’d reckon they have enough hot pies to last until then. I realise it’s a balancing act between being stuck with unsold product and missing out on sales, but clearly the current balance is wrong.
I have just had a read of the negative reviews and cannot agree with what I’m reading…. Firstly I have been going to this bakery for the last 6 years and have always received very friendly and polite service, This is a very clean & tidy well presented bakery with a good team of girls, I have always received fresh quality bread and rolls and have never had any issues regarding freshness or quality, All bread, rolls, cakes, pies ect are clearly visible and on display so there is no reason to complain about the portion size or ... read more
Way too much sugar on there items.. it's literally about 1 cm thick on the apple cakes. Normal bread items are good but they are no match for Heatherhill bakery around the corner
