Well where do I begin! This bakery is spectacular. I took my church group around the other day and well purchased some of your divine finger buns which made our mouths water. I cannot recommend this place enough and the staff was oh so sweet a young girl served me with a smile and was very helpful. This bakery has gone down hill in a big way, and for that matter all brumby bakeries that I visit. I like to order my bread and get it cut as I wait but now all of a sudden they push you into buying the pre cut bread on the rack and the attitude you get from the unfriendly staff is appalling, making you feel guilty for even asking it to be cut fresh for you. I will never purchase my bread from a brumbys bakery again as Backers Delight will get my business, far superior and nicer staff.
Called in today to get some bread but was totally disillusioned with the range of bread and roll options they had. Plus the cakes were very sparse and didn’t look appetising at all. Decided to take the five minute drive to the town centre and went to Bakers Delight and OMG, the range is amazing. The bread and cakes are terrific. Brumby’s….you really need to go and have a look at Bakers Delight and see if you can try and get something like that because your shop really doesn’t offer much and what it does is pretty poor.

Called in today 23/11/25, grabbed some sausage rolls only to find that the pastry has changed. No where near as nice as the other one's. Hope this was a one off as would not buy again if it's how they'll be from now on.
