They reposting old reviews. Spring has come and gone and no new place. Fb page has nothing to do with the restaurant. Chucked it up as a loss. Ill be opening a hot dog spot soon in the area so people can be happy
Visiting from Atlanta and discovered this place in old Town, freaking amazing! Everything we tried on the menu was spot on! Cold beer, great atmosphere, ball game on the TV, and a lovely wait staff who gave us out-of-towners a great welcome and intro to LA. We'll go back this week before we leave town. Adding to this post in 2025: I still think of this restaurant, 7 years later.
Great place with lots of personality! . UPDATE; NOT THERE ANYMORE. It's now a pizza place and I haven't tried it... Not even sure of the name

I like Bruisers. The place has a good retro vibe and the staff works pretty hard Second trip was even better than the first. Third trip? I was very dismayed to visit Slidell this past weekend and find that Bruisers is gone. That's a shame.
