I stopped in to grab two bagels with cream cheese for takeout, total should’ve been $8.38. Later, I noticed the cashier had added a 25% tip (about $2) without asking or even mentioning it. That’s not okay. It’s not about the two dollars, it’s about principle. Automatically adding a tip without the customer’s consent for a takeout feels sneaky and unethical.
