We scheduled service with manufacturer 10 days prior to actual service date. I took the day off work so would be available all day for repair to happen. Received email confirmation from manufacturer with date and Bruce's Appliance as repair company. At 9:30, I called to inform what time they'd be there, and "Bruce" (I assume that's who I was talking to) informed me he had no idea what I was talking about and had not received an order for repair.
