Unfortunately after my son who was 2 at the time had tonsil surgery..subsequent visits to his primary reveal one side was not done as Dr. Selden said. After seeing another ENT we agreed it wasn't worth putting my son through surgery again. Unfortunately 4 years later he had started having frequent tonsilitis again. Ugh.
Saw Dr. Selden for wax removal. He's been around for a very long time and seemed a bit hostile. There are signs in the office announcing his retirement as of Jan 1, 2020.
It’s called a waiting room for a good reason. After sitting for an hour and ten minutes, a nurse called me in. While being led into the examining room, she asked how I was doing. I told her not great considering the length of time I had to wait for his eminence. She gave me the tried and true response: he had an emergency. I said no he didn’t. After being advised by my primary dr. and Baptist Health that I needed an ENT to remove wax in my right ear using a vacuum technique, I saw Dr. Selden. He looked in my ear and said, "It's clear, there is NO wax buildup." He sighed and said, "I want to go home." I was dumbfounded...no effort to ask for payment was made when I came to the waiting room and I felt the staff knew what had transpired. Terrible Experience As I Wrote A Letter To Dr. Selden Prior To My Initial Visit To No Avail As Dr. Seldens Response: "I Don't Read Letters, Tell Me About It "?
Well Dr. Selden was reponsible my septoplasty and he was awesome. Its my second day, no pain at all. Minimal Swollen areas. He called back for questions and concerns. My mom is amazed too. Im so glad this worked out fine. My 2 yo loves him Too.
My first visit to Dr. Selden's practice was in February 2017. Great staff but he is incompetent. He seemed unsure of how to treat a simple and basic procedure - re-inserting a partially extracted ventialtion tube into the eardrum. After telling me it was re-inserted, I found out within a few days that it had not been re-inserted at all. I wasted my $55 co pay on this so called doctor.
Billing was horrendous, I moved and instead of calling like any other business they choose to send you to collections. Bunch of morons that work in this office. STAY AWAY!
