Dr Lowenstein went above and beyond to help me with my fur baby. It’s hard enough as a human to move, and I knew it would be stressful on my fur babe. Dr Lowenstein was able to give her a full examination to ensure she was ready to fly. My cat tends to be tender and sweet, but nervous - he eased her, and prepped her for flight which went wonderfully! Now she’s united with me, and we are thrilled!
Dr. Lowenstein is the absolute best! His expertise and knowledge are outstanding, not to mention he is incredibly responsive, thoughtful and empathetic. He truly cares for his patients like they are his own and is one of the best veterinarians out there. Unfortunately we moved out of state, so we can no longer use him as our primary vet, but I still contact Dr. Lowenstein whenever I have any concerns or questions regarding my cat’s health and he is always super responsive and willing to offer his advice and insight over the ... read more
Dr. Bruce has been my vet for more than 20 years. That speaks for itself. He is extremely kind, compassionate, and sensitive to my cats as well as my own anxiety around having them examined. It can be stressful for me as well knowing that my cats might be scared. Having Bruce come to my house (as opposed to having to round up the cats and take them into an office) is valuable to me. UPDATE: I recently came across a two star review here that shocked me. I had a difficult old cat and several of my friends have cats that go on full attack when they have to go to the vet. Before I met Dr. Lowenstein, it took three people to hold my cat down at the vet, if you can believe it. Using the cat bag with difficult cats is standard practice when the vet needs to check the teeth, etc. Sure, the cat doesn't like it, but that is the only way any vet can check teeth with a difficult cat.
