I have been with State Farm since I was first driving (1996) I used them for my home insurance from my first home till now. My dishwasher leaked and ruined my floors which were 20 years old and didn’t need replacing. The company they sent drilled holes in my cabinets to help dry the water. Now they’re low balling me on my flooring cost and are not repairing my cabinets. I will be immediately giving my business to a new company as soon as we settle this claim. One might be better off without an agent. The only service Hungerford is good at is accepting premiums not customer service. Not one person in that office will help you. " Here is the corporate number you can call", is all the help Bruce Hungerford will help with. Less than 1 star is appropriate for this review.
I don’t really have an issue with the service but one time I called to transfer my insurance to a new car and upon asking what the estimates would be, the lady on the phone was only pushing me to get the most expensive package and quite literally said “oh my god” like I was stressing her out! Lol I said “excuse me??? I think I’ll take my business elsewhere.” That one lady is always very rude anyway, why work with insurance if you can’t handle a simple question without being extremely rude.
