I did not feel welcomed in the store. I waited for around 30 minutes, then left to grab a coffee so the store could clear out a bit. When I came back, no one really engaged with me properly, offered much help, or gave any opinions or recommendations. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I may try visiting again and will update my review if the experience changes.

Based on my experience, I questioned whether the staff were properly trained, as I encountered some misinformation and practices that I felt were not entirely ethical.

I cannot speak highly enough about the team at Bruce Eyewear. Special shout out to Monica who just got me!! I came in exasperated after going to almost every other glasses store in Van from Kits to Yaletown and finally Main St. I walked in, she asked me if I had an idea of what I was looking for. I said no, and let her know that I needed help crafting a new unique look. She said "say less" and proceeded to knock it out of the park. IMO this store has the freshest selection of frames in the city by far!!

First time buying glasses, Julie was fantastic, taking the time to make numerous practical recommendations and helping me find a range of great options. I’ll definitely be back!
