Went for a physical each of the last two years with Dr Domm and both times have asked him if a “routine preventative blood draw” that he personally told me to do would cost extra money. Both years he said no it should be covered. Both years I’ve been charged hundreds for it. Either he doesn’t know basic medical insurance info for his patients or he lied to help the bottom line. Either way I won’t be going back to him or Essentia. Clear money is more important than their patients health there.
Dr. Domm is one of those rare doctors: He really listens to what your saying and relates to patients in an empathetic yet professional manner. He is never dismissive and is always interested in what is happening in your life and views his patients as complete three dimensional persons. I have complete faith in his medical acumen and trust him implicitly as he is always proven to have done the right thing. I dread the day he retires.
