On Mar 29, the PA, Scott Ajello, diagnosed that I needed a total hip replacement through in-office X-rays that were ordered by his nurse, due to my deep groin pain when moving that leg. He then ordered an MRI to confirm and I began seeing Dr Cox from that point. My anterior hip replacement surgery was scheduled for May 7 in Shelby, but there was a cancellation on May 1 in Lincolnton, where we live Dr Cox met with us again before surgery and my husband after. He was very detailed in discussing the process of surgery and of my current condition.
Bed side manor was not great. Made me wait an hour and a half and never saw my chart to know my medical history. Had to "remind" them another doctor at the same facility had me do an mri and they had the results.
