I had a good rapport with Bruce and his staff. On a personal level, they were nice and respectful. However, their services were pretty pathetic. I spent a hefty sum to see zero results. Matter of fact, I was worse off after utilizing their legal services. Bruce routinely forgot major and minor facts of the case and had to rely on his staff to put him back on track. Steer clear of Bruce Barry. He's cool to chat with. But, his legal services are a waste of time and money.
In front of the judge, his advanced age made him forget the age and sex of my child. Didn’t try on my behalf and stole 13k to show up in court. Have fun! Look elsewhere. Terrible treatment throughout but expected his gold rings to be kissed when he is talked to. No mutual respect, understanding or care from him and his team
Back in 1999, back then I was 23yo. Mr. Bruce C. Barry assisted me in my divorce. I recall, I had just moved to KS, had barely started a new job, I had no funds. I was served at my new job with divorce papers. In a panic, I grabbed the phone book looking for legal representation and found Mr. Barry. I walked from my job to his office. I hope others have a better experience. When I had initially written my review, they asked me to change it or take it down. I changed it to the above temporarily. Now that they no longer have the ability to harm me I feel more safe to write an open review. I was very disappointed in Mr Barry and his office. When I brought up the specific issues I had, they would rather lie to me and pretend to be similar, than ever admit to doing anything wrong.
