Called to make an appointment so I could get a new rx so I could order a new humidifier for my bipap that broke. My heart stops and I stop breathing without the machine. I explained I need a rx so I could order the part. I told them I need my maching to stay alive. I was told because I hadn't been there for awhile I would be new patient. I said fine give me an appt asap. They told me I could not see my Dr but could see I different one on August 14. I said I would be dead by August 14. She told me nothing she could do. Went for a new c-PAP prescription after 5 years. When I made the appointment, the receptionist said I had to fill out all f the paperwork again as though I were a new patient. Really? I was expecting a hassle, but there was none. Dr. Dershowitz was friendly and efficient, reviewed the data from my machine’s memory card, and helped me get fitted with a new Dreamwear mask. Can’t wait to try it!
My first time at this office. I had all my paperwork done before I got there. The place had a smell to it and was very dirty. The doctor never did a physical examination on me. He read my echocardiogram and stated that there was an issue that appeared to look like Pulmonary Hypertension but they like to do tests to confirm.
