Brenda and Mark are good warm people and made our stay feel like we were home with them. The breakfasts were wonderful and well done. They are fantastic Hosts and good people. They had good suppositions on what to do and how to have the best experience in the Amish and Mennonite community. We highly recommend their place for accomadations.
We recently came back from a stay at the Brownstone Colonial in. This was the third time we've stayed there and will surely visit again. Brenda and Mark are friendly and make the best breakfasts. We enjoy their company and know that you will too.
Definitely a five star inn for us! Set in a bucolic, rural PA landscape; it is quiet, the owners are friendly, and it is sparkling clean. The owners, Mark and his wife, Brenda have obviously, long-tended the property as a labor of love, maintaining the unspoiled beauty of its 18th century ambience.The best breakfast ever, lovingly made by Brenda. Innkeeper, Ms. Brenda, thoroughly enjoys making a chef-quality breakfast every morning for her guests. Yes, in her own home, she prays over the meal before partaking which is very encouraging. The home has been updated very well. The interior is still antique style, but modern at the same time. My favorite was the slick-smooth hardwood floors in my room, Queen Anne.
