great hardware store! I was introduced to this neighborhood gem about ten months ago by a dear friend who wanted to help me pick out a grill for my husband. This store is wonderful! Unlike the big hardware stores, staff goes out of its way to help you find things. They have a little bit of everything -- and the products are top quality. I find that if I need a light bulb or garden gloves, it is much faster to stop in here -- I may spend a few cents more, but I am in and out in no time. (And time is money, right?) They don't have the selection or overhead that the large home improvement stores have, but if you need a basic item, they will bend over backwards to help you with your project. They also have a full service post office located inside the store. PROS: Friendly, educated staff. Post office inside. CONS: Small selection, slightly higher prices on some things.
