I don't typically leave reviews but Browns Transmission is absolutely wonderful!! We purchased a 2020 Ford explorer and our Transmission went out. I called around to different mechanics and they were either backed up to far, or didn't deal with the newer 10 speed transmissions. Called to get my 2016 Chevy cruise in for repair. That is under warranty. Told the gentleman on the phone. I think it may be the turbo on it. Told me they don’t work on those. Had to call to locate another service repair shop. Jeremiah’s in Heath is the place to go. Browns needs to take the full service auto repair off the name.
This was my go-to mechanic for a long time, but their service has deteriorated over the past few years. They put the rear brakes on my Subaru Forester wrong. They put wheel bearings on my son's Forester backwards. Now I'm getting rear brakes on my Subaru Impreza after they just did a pre-trip inspection a few weeks ago.
Since they've been in business for so long and specialize in transmissions, figured i'd call them to get a quote and appointment for my 1978 Thunderbird. Was told on that one call "ehhh.. not so easy to find the parts. We generally don't service the antiques like that. appreciate the call though". So, if you have a newer vehicle, i'm guessing this is the place you want to take it, just not anything older. He was at least friendly sounding on the call
