I have used Brown s Marina in the past and their quality and service were great. However last week 6/16/14 I took my boat over for an estimate for a steering cable and electrical work. I was told I would get a call by the end of the day 6/16/14. One week later and 3 calls to Brown s Marina still no estimate and no communication. I picked up my boat today 6/23/14 and told the service writer I wasn t pleased with the way they treated me. He said he understood and take it up with David. Browns Marine is top-notch. They provide great service at a reasonable price. Good folks and very knowledgeable. David has even helped me dianose and fix my problem over the phone! 5 stars in my book.

I purchased a new boat in May of 2010 and was sold a 2008 model trailer and was not told about it. I wanted power trim and they didnt have an engine with it so they suggested a jack plate that someone else had taken off which caused the engine to set 5 1/2" rearward on a tiller boat and caused me to have to lean backward to run the boat. They just dont know how to tell the truth. If you deal with them you better require everything to be in writing or else "you will be the trusting sucker". THE BOAT WAS NOT READY WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE AND TOOK MORE TIME AND CHARGED MORE MONEY THAN CUSTOMER WAS QUOTED TO DO THE JOB ...CANT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE !
