I had 2 unprofessional experiences with two other eye centers here in WR, one on Houston Lake Blvd and the other on Watson Blvd. I called Brown’s Eye Center, desperate to get my prescription filled. I talked to Ms. Reneé and she was so very warm and welcoming and said they’d take good care of me. Mrs. Darlene was my technician. She was very professional, and funny and made me feel very welcome. Been waiting a month for frames never received a phone call about them still can not order my new glasses as I am waiting on the frame to come in. No one has call like I was promised they have gone downhill so I work with an old prescription and can’t get my glasses ordered and no one there seems to care.
Not what it used to be pre-pandemic; not what it could be post-pandemic. Staff at Kathleen just don't measure up to the task. Maybe more competition among eye care providers in the area would help their dire customer service. They always seem to be angry or upset with the patients, as if the customers are bothering them. Not to mention the 4 - 8 months wait time on a doctor's appointment. Time to switch.
Ms. Emily helped me with my eyeglasses order. She was so patient and I had lots of questions! She was very thorough and showed me options that were available. I am so appreciative of Emily and so happy to have found Browns eye center.
Yesterday was my first appointment at Brown’s Eye Center. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the front desk receptionists as well as the associates performing the eye tests. My doctor was Dr. Rajendra who was absolutely amazing! She was very in-depth at explaining the exam and the results of my tests that were done.
