We had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter’s baby shower at Brown’s Doughnut & Pastry in Chalfont, and everything was wonderful! Katy and her team were amazing from start to finish—helpful, attentive, and always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. i tried so hard to like this place!! i’ve gotten a chai latte, donuts, breakfast sandwich, pasties, bagel w cream cheese, lots of cupcakes, in the past few months and ALL items were disappointing. for an example: the peanut butter cupcake isn’t even peanut butter flavored, only the icing, and it’s barely peanut butter at that. Also the cupcake cake was extremely dense and dry, barely any flavor. All of the baked goods have an odd spongey texture and not very sweet (maybe that’s a french thing ?). Watery chai. The donuts were insanely delicious — specifically the French toast donut! Light, fluffy and full of sweetness, but not too sweet! I can’t wait to go back and try a bagel!
