Clean, quaint, friendly staff, good location, quiet property.
Nice place to stay
I’d give this place a solid 4.5. It’s a nice place, clean, quiet. Seems well cared for by the owners. I didn’t realize when I made the booking that they have limited check in hours (3-10 at the time). Luckily they were able to accommodate our late check in. We didn’t get to experience any of the amenities really but it was a good experience so we would stay again if we needed a place in Salida again.
After reviewing some of the precious reviews, I figured I show also attest on what we experienced today, July 3rd, 2026 around 1pm. I called to confirm my reservation. I wanted to see if I could get into my room 15 minutes early as i traveled across the country and made great timing. I sat in their parking lot for about an hour and just tried calling to see if I could get in a few minutes early.
