I attended several different groups that Anita facilitated. She always had lots of ideas and exercises for getting in touch with my own inner feelings, for seeing new perspectives, and for taking steps towards my goals. She has always been warm, caring, and gentle. She helped empower me to know myself and to make decisions that were good for me.
I give her zero stars. One of the many times I didn’t report rape was because our therapist, Anita Browning, said I had been giving him messages I wanted sex. Anita Browning not was there when these supposed messages were (not) given. Anita Browning was not there when I woke up with him penetrating me, at a time in my life when I was dealing with heavy abuse issues. Anita Browning was not there to tell me about marital rape. Anita Browning protected him. Anita Browning didn’t believe me.
