My wife and I were visiting friends in Rochester NY, when the check engine light came on. Our friends recommended that we contact Browncroft Service Center. We called and spoke with a nice man (Bob) he advised us to drive the car to his shop located on Washington Street. When we arrived Bob was courteous when speaking with him. He took the car right into the shop and did a diagnosis. Bob determined it was the alternator and advised us he would have to order one and gave us an estimated cost for the alternator and his service... read more
Have been using Browncroft Service Center for 20 years. The owner Bob has always been professional, honest, and does excellent work at a fair price. Repairs are always properly done and on time. Best auto service shop in the Rochester area - highly recommended.
Great repair shop. Reasonable prices and honest work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
He didn’t call me and get my consent before doing work on my car, for a price that I never would have agreed to. Claimed that he “thought” he did call me when I confronted him about it. If he lies to someone’s face like this, I can only imagine what he gets away with from the people who don’t confront him.
