Beware! This is no longer the practice of our beloved Dr. Brown who passed away. The new practice charges exhorbitant fees for actions that are optional but never clearly explained as such. I entered the office with two 16 month old housebound junior cats expecting a simple check up, vaccines, and nail clippings and walked out with a bill of over $1,000 about half of which was for a wellness program that is an expensive addition and a way, it seems to pad a bill. We had had good experiences here until recently when I was checking my Eva in for a teeth cleaning. Their head technician JULIA was booking me in and had the worst attitude I've ever experienced! She was aggressive and surly and I would NOT recommend leaving your loved ones in the care of this unhappy soul. I cancelled Eva's teeth cleaning and left. We will be taking our business elsewhere which is said because we had been with BVC for years.

Dr. Brown is absolutely terrible. I paid $750 for an ear cropping, everything seemed to be fine and then he informed me the ears weren't healing right, I asked him what next steps were and he suggested I take my dog to another vet closer to my location. I never informed him of how far I lived, he suggested I switch vets because he messed up the ears and wanted someone else to fix his mistake. Switching vets actually did not make sense for me and I shocked he suggested it as this was our first ever conversation. I am beyond p... read more
