I've been a customer for about 30 years as a GC and have always appreciated their helpful service, quality products and reliability. A Portland institution and a SE Portland treasure.
They are so helpful here. I came in today needing help with a splashy stair step. I wish I had got his name, but the guy that helped me went out of his way to help me. Great service.

they dont have a huge selection but they usually have the higher quality lumber that bigbox stores or parr wouldnt and at good prices. Service is topnotch and they have a covered loading area thats almost never crowded. check here first for lumber to save hassle and capital.
Guy at the front (can’t recall his name but he had Ray ban glasses) Helped me get the lumber I needed for a few DIY projects and cut the boards down for me. He was super helpful in picking the grade and type of lumber depending on the project. This is the only place I go for lumber these days!
