Not really understanding the negative reviews below. He and his office staff were thorough and explained exactly what the process would be like. He uses a dictation device to take notes, it is far faster than typing and allows him to take quick and accurate notes during the appointment. He is not the best listener, but only in the sense that he is singularly focused on sleep apnea. Very professional and thorough. I look forward to our treatment plan.
Dr Brown EXCLUSIVELY treats sleep apnea according to his staff. Therefore if you do not have sleep apnea he will tell you that you do and bill Medicare as if you do. If you ask to see where on your sleep study it says you have sleep apnea he may say something like “oh right here you almost have it”. While you are trying to talk to him during your appointment, he may be talking into his dictaphone and pretending you are not there. Rather than billing you he may report you as a non payer. This is not someone who is in the business of helping people. It took THREE months for me to get an appointment even though I was willing to take any day or time and had a referral from my doctor. I arrived four minutes late for my appointment and he refused to see me! He said he needed the full hour and that since I arrived late I would have to reschedule the appointment it took me three months to get!! Seriously?
