Dr. Brown performed nerve surgery on my left leg which I was told would be a simple surgery. There was no EMG performed before the surgery which I now know is not standard protocol. Post-op I had sensory issues, motor issues, developed a foot deformity and have extreme pain from neuromas/nerve damage along with a hematoma post-op near my knee that was not addressed. He in not a peripheral nerve surgeon. He should not be doing neurectomys. I am much worse after he did surgery. I was led to believe I would have 1 small incision. I woke up in recovery ,my lower pelvis was burning as if on fire. I had no pain in this area prior to surgery. The surgery was almost 3 years ago and the pain has not changed.
